We played Coldstream at home again in a hard fought game and won this time. With no interchange available, the team answered last weeks’ wishes and put in for the whole game. Team work is improving which is giving us more offensive options. Zac and Jarran delivered standout performances but no less significant were Taylah, Riley, Travis and Keiren who made a great full forward. Importantly the backline was able to withstand the Coldstream attack during the final quarter as it had done for most of the game. Our solid defence may have been reason for Coldstream’s scoring shots being mostly the result of long kicks which (maybe due to the gusty NW winds) were inaccurate. - Dave Ryan
