Rowville Gold at Stud Park - Gusty winds favoured southern end. The team scored early and managed to kick 2.3 to 1 point against the wind in 1st quarter. A solid 2nd quarter and again preventing Rowville from scoring goals set us up for the game. Overall, a consistent effort by the team despite some adverse referee decisions produced the win.
Negatives: A number of hopeful shots towards goal went out on the full. That indicated a need for team play rather than trying to score from a lucky kick.
Positives: Jake C had a good day; a mark in the goal square followed by his first major was his reward. Keiren continues to impress with his contested marks and kicks under pressure. The boys withstood niggles and interference from their opposition which provided good experience going into the finals.
